The Legacy Conference

Join us for a powerful virtual celebration of Black Women in Law from Friday, March 28, to Sunday, March 30, 2025. We invite Black women from across the country to come together to uplift, inspire, and elevate the voices of Black women in the legal profession.

Our conference will feature engaging judicial panels in collaboration with The Appellate Project and the Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission. Attendees will have the chance to connect with representatives from law firms and practicing attorneys, providing invaluable networking opportunities. The event will also include keynote speakers such as Eboni K. Williams, awards, and dynamic discussions with current attorneys and law students.

All law students and practicing attorneys will have the opportunity to submit their resumes, which will be shared with firms such as Perkins Coie LLP, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, and more.

Together, we will address crucial topics such as job searching, law school applications, mental health for Black women, the exciting journey of starting your own law firm, in-house work, building your own brand, dating in the legal profession, and we will hold a transparent conversation about the State of Black women in law. Whether you are a pre-law student, a law student, a practicing attorney, or a supporter of Black women in law, this is your opportunity to join a vibrant community and embrace transformative experiences.
