The Legacy Program
Only about 4% of federal law clerks are Black, and the percentage is even smaller for Black women. Black Women in Law (BWL) has developed a clerkship mentorship program to increase the percentage of Black female federal law clerks.
Our one-year mentorship program is designed to help Black women who aspire to clerk in federal courts break barriers.
Internships
If you’re passionate about uplifting Black women and are interested in gaining hands-on experience while driving positive impact, our internship program could be a good starting point! As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful initiatives.
Executive Intern

Assist top organization leaders & board members in various tasks, from conducting research and analyzing data to preparing reports and presentations. Communications Intern

Work closely with our communications team to craft engaging content for diverse channels, including press releases, social media posts, and newsletters. Social Media Intern
Step into the role of a Social Media Intern and unleash your creativity while learning the ins and outs of digital engagement and community management.
